Thank you for choosing to make a donation to the Ulster Community College Foundation, Inc. As a not-for-profit 501 (c) 3 organization, the Foundation will acknowledge your contribution as a tax-deductible charitable gift. Your donation will support the Foundation in its mission to assist the college with enhanced technology, academic and cultural programs, and to provide scholarships to SUNY Ulster students.
Through the generosity of the many friends of the Foundation and the College, and under the auspices of the Foundation Board of Directors, the Ulster Community College Foundation, Inc. has developed into a thriving organization with eight million dollars ian assets, mostly restricted to donor intentions. The scholarship funds constitute the most significant part of the endowment, making Ulster's scholarship program one of the most prominent among small community colleges in New York State.

Area of Most Critical Need
Help support the Foundation's commitment to assist the college with funding for technology, arts curriculum, cultural enhancement and other critical needs as they arise to continue to provide the very best opportunities to Ulster's students and the community.
Technology and Academic Programs
You may choose to direct a gift to assist SUNY Ulster with the an ongoing need for funding technological improvements and academic programming to support students with cutting edge technology and to provide a dynamic curriculum for the changing needs of industry and the community.
Arts Curriculum and Cultural Events
Your gift can be applied help support Ulster's commitment to enhance arts curriculum and to bring cultural opportunities of enrichment to our students and to the citizens of our region.
Planned Giving
In addition to outright gifts of money or stock, you may choose to make a planned gift.
Charitable Bequests
Charitable bequests enable individuals to make larger gifts than they may have been able to during their lifetime and have become a popular form of charitable giving. You may leave a bequest to the Ulster Community College Foundation, Inc. by stipulating a specific sum or a percent of your residuary estate. A recent donor has made the Ulster Community College Foundation, Inc. the beneficiary of a six-figure gift. Kindly consider our mission and our students when you plan your estate.
Scholarships
Several scholarship giving options are available. Whether you are interested in establishing a scholarship to honor an individual, promote study in a particular curriculum, or contribute to an already established scholarship fund, foundation staff members are available to discuss your options. Your gift can help secure the dream of a college education for the next generation.
Donations varying in amounts from family and friends may be given to our GENERAL SCHOLARSHIP FUND to provide for a celebration, honoring, or memorial:

When these funds reach $10,000, the foundation will move the funds to an “Endowment in Growth Fund” in the name of your honoree or loved one.
Scholarships may be:

Made through donations to our General Scholarship Fund

Made through annual donations to a Named Scholarship Fund

Made through Endowed Named Scholarships in which an initial donation of $5,000 is made with the donors committing to a growth plan to reach $25,000 in endowment, thus providing the ability to award endowed named scholarships based upon interest earned.
